Quick Guide
A concise introduction and route into the technical reference.
Microtan reference library
Microtan 65 manuals, introductory material and detailed technical reference.
The original site combined a short Quick Guide with converted HTML editions of the Microtan system, Tanex, XBUG and Microsoft BASIC manuals. Those pages are now available here alongside the surviving PDF downloads. I have also added reconstruction and reference documents for the TAN-DOS disk system, Colour VDU, Mousepacket video board and ETI real-time clock/calendar project.
The system manuals were supplied for the original site by Fabrice Frances. The Microtan 65 user-manual PDF was scanned, proofread and corrected by Neal Crook.
Some converted manuals contain gaps or OCR damage already present in the legacy HTML. Where the intended text could not be established safely from the source, it has been retained and noted rather than reconstructed.
