Mousepacket VDU board emulation

Added the Mousepacket Colour VDU and its later TANBUG and BASIC firmware to my Microtan 65 emulator.

I’ve got emulation of the Mousepacket VDU board working. This is a bit different to the other display emulations because the hi-res boards use the same 256×256 screen size as the native Microtan 65 display, but the Mousepacket VDU is a 384×250-pixel display. It also used modified TANBUG v3 and BASIC EPROMs to provide native support for it. These were compatible with the original and hi-res displays, so I’ve included them in the build by default. The old EPROMs are still in the repository and can still be used. TANBUG v3 includes TAN-DOS support and looks a little different from the original TANBUG.

Since I first wrote this article, I have added TAN-DOS controller and disk-image emulation as well. The current emulator page has an overview and links to the detailed notes.

To use the display, just enable it from the menu (F1). Pressing Ctrl-X toggles between the original Microtan 65 display and the Mousepacket VDU display.

I really wanted one of these back in the day, so I’m looking forward to finally having a play with it!
