I’ve added emulation of the ETI RTC card, based on an AN-0359_MM58174A RTC I/C. The original article and I/C datasheet have been added to the documentation section.
The emulator defaults to using the system clock, but keeps an offset if it gets set in software, so it should behave exactly as you’d expect (without needing to ever change the battery).
