Rinsey Cove

Rinsey cove is a small beach with some sand at low tide.  When I was there, the tide was high at sunset, so I set up my camera on some rocks.  The sky was clear of clouds, so I selected a long lens and zoomed into an area where the waves were crashing on rocks.  The warm tones of the last of the sunlight reflecting off the cliff walls contrasted with the cool tones of the sea and waves.  I used a shutter speed of 1/3s to slightly blur the water, but retain enough definition to show movement and the waves crashing.  I set the camera on its continuous shot mode and triggered it when a wave came in.
